  1. Yes, everyday, I'm literally surrounded by TVs! I work in Digital Television departament ;)
Nowdays TV is not only for watching programs like TVP or TVN, people can do many many more with their "box". Play games, surf web etc (you don't need xbox or ps for that if you have f.e. SmartHUB).

It is more like PC now. You can interact with it not only be watcher.
I read books for relax. Sometimes I play games, nothing special.
I do not know anyone who dropped from college and do not back to school (for example after year).
I don't have favourite trip. Every trip I had is special for me, but I don't consider them as someting un usual. I learn everyday, even If I do "the same", In my opinion everyday experiences are as much valuable as trips experience.

  2. 1.Personally I think that majority of people watch tv at some point. Almost every household has a television. I watch tv as my way to relax and unwind after a stressful day. I enjoy an interesting movie or documentary. Tv is an easy way to get occupied without putting a lot of effort in it.I don't consider myself"stupid" because I watch tv.I don't fall into the traps of advertising and can differentiate between good television and junk.
2.My son is the most important thing in my life. Being a young father I had to grow up very fast and provide for my family. My priorities had changed and I am the one responsible for my family's happiness. I believe that people change throughout their lives and different situations make us the way we are and define us.It is ongoing process. I try to live my life without any regrets and be an example for my son.
    3. I like to jog as my way to relax. I prefer to jog outside even in the cold weather. Jogging allows me to clear my mind and for one hour just be in silence without the need of thinking or doing something. I also like to read history books which allow me to learn about the life in the past and get familiar with the customs/traditions.
4.I believe that there are two types of people on this world:streetwise and book smarts. Finishing the University helps immensely, especially when the individual applies for the first job, yet,it doesn't guarantee the success. Every person needs to work very hard in order to achieve something. There are people who did not go to the University and today they are millionaires. It all depends on the individual and his/her potential.
5.My favourite trip I have even taken was to New York City. I have never been so shocked and amazed at the same time.Everything was big, flashy, and large in quantity. From the amazing skyscrapers, through crowded streets and million of different nationalities, the city is one of the kind.

  3. You gave us very current and important subject here. Week ago I saw little boy stareing at iphone and I sterted to think about my toys when I was his age. To be honest, it was often just a stupid stick. I was perfectly fine with spending whole time outside with no phone, just with my frinds and nature. The difference between childhood now and then is huge, and I'm not that old.

I don't watch tv, I'm glad that I don't have one in my flat. When I watch it in my parent's hause, I'm acting like zombie. I don't hear or see anything else, and I just can't stop doing it. After evening like this I usually have a headake, and I always feel guilty about wasting my time. But watching tv defiitely doesn't make you stupid. You just have to be careful about how much time you spend in front of the tv.

Most important thing in my life is my family (was and always will be).
Which moment made me the person I am now? It was a process, a lot of more or less important moments. We are learning every day and this knowledge change us every day as well.

Eating is relexing!! When I'm angry I know I have to eat something, and when I can combine it with listening music, reading a book or watching a good movie, I'm in heaven. Even better when I can have a quick nap later on :)

Yes, I heard about few people who dropped from colleque. They done it because they felt constricted by the scripted curriculum, and I can understand it sometime. As far as I know they're doing great. But those people were artists, not lawyers, it makes a difference.

My favourite trip was a trip to my bed this saturday, after work ;)
I love traveling. Every trip is a great adventure and opportunity to learn.

  4. This presentation is very chaotically written, and not really think I understand what the author wanted to convey.
As to the questions posed below presentation:

Then I watch TV when I have the time, when I'm bored or when I cook, and I want you to do something I played background.

In life, the most important is the happiness, health, is to carry a loved one that will be reciprocated our feelings and care about us as we do about her family and a sense of fulfillment, a sense that everything is done to what is sought, and that everything has had time to do. A person with whom I met in high school that is the best outta here like a time in my life, and I think it is not a process. Got to know a long time and get along well, we feel each other's company so I do not know whether any process can have a place here.

There are many ways to do it to relax, you can take a warm bath, watch TV, read a book, go to the gym, ride a car, go to the pub for a beer with friends, etc.. Way is a lot depends on who he likes.

I do not know anyone like that.

My favorite excursion is a trip around the U.S. by car with their parents. I watched a lot of interesting places, I learned a lot about their history and honed my English.

  5. 1.
Awesome presentation, I read with pleasure. It raised very important issues, which some people in everyday life do not think at all.
I don’t watch TV since moving to my home, which is more than a year. Living with my parents, I watched TV almost every day and only now I see how much it took me valuable time and what it was thoughtless and sometimes depressing at the same time.
Most people don’t realize the negative impact television can have on their lives.
Whether the world really is so brutal, lost in wars, hatred, injustice and falsehood?
A person who watches or reads the news certainly think so.
Picture of reality on television is very curved, which is understanable, TV stations let go of what people want to watch.
    2.
The most important in my life is my family.
For a person that I am now the biggest impact was supposed to know my love. It really changed my outlook, opened my eyes to many important issues.
Thanks to him I have become a confident, assertive person who has many dreams and knows that it is able to fulfill them. I wish everyone that met such a person in your life.
    3.
For the rest I love to read books, I like the long baths in the bathtub, listening to music. Sometimes also paint pictures, I was in my world, it's very relaxing activities. If the weather is nice I like a walk, preferably with a close person to me. Also I go to the cinema, theater and meet up with friends.
    4.
I know a person who dropped out from college because it said that this is not the direction for her. For now, she took a break, but since the new semester she starts learning a new direction and she is very pleased with these changes.
At this point, it deals with his passion, which is dance. She rides on various festivals to cities, soon she wants to start work as a dance instructor, which does not prevent her learning because she chose the direction of internet.

  6. I watch TV it is usually tvn24, which is, i'm not sure why, critisized by everyone, CNBS, BBC news . I call it watching but it is just turned on in the background, this is because i'm interested in politics and business since always.
I think that if you're not a complete moron you can watch every news station because your brain can easly filter most
of the information and let you realize what is being manipulated or what is important.

The most important thing in my life is health, money, power and women. I'm not sure which moment made me this person, it might be a process.

When it comes to relax, I usually do things that everybody does(listening to music, work out, parties etc.) because, generaly we are all the same. If you think you're special, you're not(Assuming that you're not retarded, psycho etc.).

Question 4 is very strange as going to college is just a bonus (it's additional) and has little to do with getting to the top. If you're dumb you'll always be dumb, no matter what college you graduated from. I fully agree with s7495 and I also
like the bookwise and streetwise therory, it always made sense to me.

As it come to traveling my favourite trips was taken to LA (2x). I think its the best place in the world, the climat is perfect, seaside is perfect and downtown is also perfect! I will defenitely go there again for a trip or to live, we'll see.

  7. 1. Strange question, I believe that each of us watching TV :). I watch TV in my free time and during major events such Champions League, UEFA CUP, UEFA European Football Championship, and also during the broadcast of my favorite series :)

    2. In my opinion the most important in life there are 3 things: Love, Health, Happiness, without these three things hard, live life in this world :). In his own case I can tell you that people in the modern world are very different, they do tell the second one, which I consider to be pretty pathetic :).

    3. Another of the strange questions :) what do you do? perhaps the best way to save for a massage, sports regeneration or bubble bath :), but personally prefer massage, because the way he relaxes all the muscles, and there is less risk of injury.

    4. I don't know such a person lub I don't know anyone like that

    5. My favorite trip was a trip to Rhodes. Why? because I met so many interesting and intresting people from other countries, and there was amazing weather. Also saw a lot of interesting places that never forget to this day such as Anthony Queen'a bay;) Personally, he plans to stay closest to the hope that it will be even more successful, because I'm going to visit his brother in the USA ;)

  8. I am a happy not owner of TV for about 5 years. I do not watch it, i don't feel the need for doing this, i don't find watching TV a relaxing activity anymore and i am not planning to buy one at the time :)
Here i am, a manipulation free person. According to the second question, definitely it's an endless process. Of course there were many of achievments (like in the games) to get, and these achievments are my milestones which i try to accomplish, and the roads are winding (like in Oasis song "wonderwall" :)). There is always a lesson to learn in every situation of every day of my life, the main thing is to be a careful observer. I've wrote in my previous comment to other post that i am relaxing doing very different things, but i am always active, only sometimes when i feel the need to take a rest i contemplate for a while and this is when i have my very best trips of my life! I reach for the endless in my mind, and that's it.
ps of course i know many guys who dropped from college for many reasons. They started a company and they got back to college after 2 years of realizing, how big was mistake they have made. When you start doing something, the best thing you can do is to take it to the very end, so you will learn very important lesson - your power of will and capability of doing things.

  9. Mostly I agree with a presentation author, maybe due to similar anger at surrounding reality. I understand that when he writes about harmful influance of advertisements and stupid programs in TV, he does not mean that every program in every minute is like that. He has in mind only those programs which make water from the brain. Colored moving pictures made of people - big stars! Huge stars by big B forgot a one week later, because who remember the names of participants all that entertainment programs? People look at the screen, enjoy, applaud and forget. It is realy easy life without thinking and asking. Only looking, so no need to imagine. Today you do not have to imagine, nowadays you have TV!
Most important thing in my life is my life. I evolve a little bit every day. A whole childhood is the conversion process and what about teenage time? It is also! 3 months ago I saw a terrible accident, head-on collision coach against car that burned. I sometimes think about it and in my opinion it has changed me in some way. Development of personality is a long process, but if you do not work on themselves you will regress. In an early school you learn very fast and when you would like to stay at the same level in adulthood you have to either study all life long or at least force your brain to thinging.
When I finish my job and learning I need some exercises with my friends that is why I go on swimming pool or to sauna, on fitness or to the gym, but no more than three times a week. Rest of the time I just rest. I like art and I use it :)
Plenty of people I know dropped from studies. One guy is the lecturer assistant in secondary school in England, he was always good in math. Second has own driving company this one was drinking the most, next person has own sawmill, another travels around the world with one of Warsaw's theatre.
On the other hand one acquaintance recently defended a master's degree, but he did not stop drinking. As it goes further in some years he will loose everything.
I do not know anybody who dropped from college, but my neighbors father with son have never finished a primary school; now they run a company that builds wooden houses. Good business, but whether good choice?
Definietly my most favourite journey was trip to Asia during which I have visited three countries, Thailand, Laos and Indonesia. It was very intensive because I wanted to see as much as I can in six weeks.
I met there a lot of interesting people, local artists, natives and turists from the west. That tour gave me a lot of good, not only beautiful views, but first of all I have learnt some local culture and human mentality. I learnt also that not everyone can be trusted.
One tuk tuka driver ask me to wait because he has to refuel and left me alone somewhere in a town. I paid him in advance for the course :(

  10. Yes, I sometimes do watch television but I feel neither addicted nor like wasting my time. I do that probably for the same reasons like other people’s. Every one of us has this desire of being informed what happens worldwide. Since television is usually the topic of people’s conversations and the main source of information (sometimes wrong), watching it leads to being more conscious. However, I do not take everything which is said on TV for granted- it is the MAIN source of information, but neither THE MOST RELABLE nor THE ONLY ONE. Thus, we should all think critically of what is exposed to us. Moreover , we should remember that when we turn the TV on we want to be informed, but people who make the TV programs do not always want to inform us, but to interest us.
When it comes to creating our personalities I think that it more like a process because we learn everyday a great deal of new things and we experience a lot. Then, our perception of the world changes. We sometimes claim that we are already shaped and nothing will change but in fact every day is crucial for the process of creating our personalities and making us the people we are.
Every time I want to relax I do different thing i.e. I change the ways of relaxing in order to not to be stuck in the routine. Since we have to go to school, work etc. we are already exposed to very dull life and we do not have much time for ourselves. It makes me want to escape it as many times as possible. Hence, If I did almost always the same thing to relax, my life would be too much repetitive. Sometimes people not open minded and every time they want to relax they watch films, while others go to swim- I think that we should derive from ALL the opportunities we are given in today’s world and not to limit ourselves to our ‘favorite’ things (especially when we have never tried to do anything different).
I do not know anyone who dropped from college but I used to know a lot of people who really wanted to do so. I think that in today’s world the pressure of the society is that intense that even people the most likely and willing to do something also succumb to this pressure and continue their lives with unfulfilled dreams. Only the bravest ones do some things which might be perceived as unjustified, crazy, extreme or irresponsible. However, they do not see it and do what they really want to do and thus they are just happy. Isn’t it like it should be?
Every trip in my life gave me the opportunity to know myself better and developed my character. As I said before the process of shaping our personalities lasts the whole life and things which are the most distant from our daily routine e.g. trips let us think of our lives and decide what is the most important for us and what we really want to do. It helps everyone to go somewhere and forget about the current life. Just to keep distance. Thus, every single trip that I went on is my favorite.
