The film industry is still struggling with piracy, there are often quite crazy new ideas for prevention of such trafficked. But it seems that piracy itself is no longer a major problem. The worst is that piracy has become socially acceptable. Today, many people simply in no way hides the fact that watching pirated content. Ba is proud of and praises to the world in social media. It is not difficult to find entries on twitter reviewing movies downloaded from torrents. Kinomaniak.TV profile on Facebook with over 247,000 fans iiTV.info and more than 200,000. My and Your friends probably without much discomfort "like it". Maybe piracy is just one example of our mentality. In the end, some of us probably do not have similar resistance bragging about corruption, drink-driving and other major and minor transgressions.
There were times when I was younger and like all of my friends we were collecting mp3 archives on our computers. Nowadays I have no signle friend with mp3 collection nor I store single mp3. Why? Maybe because you can listen to everything for free using streaming over internet. Or possibly because you can pay few cents and buy mp3 on itunes or spotify. Times have changed when it comes to music. I think that music artists make more money on performing live than selling CDs. I'm no expert here however when there is a good concert in Warsaw I'm often attending. In my opinion bigger problem are movies, tv series and generally video content. But again - when I really care about particular movie title I go to the cinema. So that would be my opinion about audio/video content. When it comes to lying by men and women I think there is no bigger difference - everybody sometimes lies.
Cezary and Łukasz wrote that piracy is now a big problem. So I'll wrote about cheating on exams. In last semester I had one class with lecturer from USA. He was very serious about being honest and told us that in USA cheating is not tolerated and it's a crime. He was also very serious about exam he prepared for us. At the end of lectures it appeard that we will be writing this exam in our homes, not even through edux by simply by downloading a word file from his site and, after filling it, send it via email. A lot of students just laughed. I don't know what the lecturer expected, but I don't believe that anyone wrote this test 100% fair. For Polish people cheating on exams or doing your homework is still nothing bad, it's even fine when you are smart enough to cheat and not be caught.

I know that the piracy is illegal but I think that downloading music or film, for example is not a bad thing, if you do this for your own use. We can decide about buying something when we have seen it or have listened it before. I agree with information about men and women lies. Women want to be considered to be friendly, most of men are more self-centered.
Well it is really hard to judge whether or not it is acceptable to download music illegally or crib. It just depends on why we do this. In my opinion, it’s up to us how we feel doing these things and it should be obvious in terms of morality that we should not do that. People who make music should be paid for just like everyone else who works. Nevertheless, if we download it for ourselves, it is the more and more acceptable. This means that in today’s world it’s difficult not to cheat and steal for example music and even the government has problems with introducing new policies to stop this trend. When it comes to the information about women and men, I agree that their lies usually differ from each other i.e. they are based on different motives. And cheating obviously is one of human activities that are impossible to eliminate even though it is a well-known fact that cheating is bad. However, it is easier to cheat than to live saying only the truth. In some situations not only for us, but also for those who simply do not want to know the truth because they will suffer less.

Greed is one of the reason people steal. Greed of someone who wants to have and greed of someone who wants to be paid. If one steals because of his greed its bad. But if someone steals because of someone’s else greed its 2 times bad. And only one of them can be excused. Worst case scenario is when someone steals because of his own and other one’s greed. None of them is subject of excuse. Internet content stealing is usualy last case. So do not expect me to take one side. Of course stealing is wrong, bad and even evil. But rise hand first all who blames Janosik or Robin Hood for stealing. Of course they did it for the poor and… as movies/books prove for quite a lot of fun – did not they? Cheating is what I despise. Really. I never used crib since my primary school. I never wanted to be credited for something I could not be proud of. This is my principle believe it or not. Cheating someone you love is… unacceptable. And people do not usually do that. They cheat because they do not love and want to have more…. Sex, attention, admiration – whatever. And lying is… well… weakness. When you cannot handle the truth or you cannot handle others knowing the truth. And this is my challenge. I have to confess you I am among those 90% of people who lie at least 1 time a day. Or at least I was until I told myself I will not. Never. And this is one of most difficult thing to do. Or rather not to do. Because you do not lie to avoid nuisances only. One lies because he does not want to hurt others, or he wants to protect someone (including himself) or he just want to be more fun (people like it) etc etc… So many good and noble reasons… And one simple fact – you are afraid to tell truth. Or to stay silent You are just one big lousy coward – that is who you are… Who I am when I do …. I am fighting it… and it is very uneven fight. But it is sometimes funny… “Sorry Honey, I could not be sooner – boss told me to help him with preparation …. Ah….Sorry I am lying… I forgot you asked me to be back earlier today… I know I forgot 5th time in a row – it is not that I do not care –Second half of the day I just do the things that force me to focus so much I forgot everything else. Just please help me to remember with small sms or phonecal… will you?” And I never lie to my children. And I never will
I didn’t know about differences in male and female lying. I think that the differences are due to social norms of behavior in the social network, but not the fact of belonging to a gender. For sure cheating is natural. Often in our lives we need to adapt to the rules that are foreign to us. In such cases, the animals look like they completely subordinated, for example, the rules of the pack leader, but people are able to function in the harsh environment and continue to have their own different opinions. For me, it is a measure of wisdom and intelligence. Specially I quoted rather positive aspect lies and deceit, only after showing that, lie may have some positive side I can answer the first question: What do you think about downloading music illegally, and crib sheet in an exam or blarney? Generally, I am opposed to cheating on exams and copyright infringement, for example: downloading music, software from the network. Let's look at the causes of these phenomena. People sometimes do not have a choice because they often are not able to control unreasonable overloaded curricula (a typical Polish specialty is to cram all available knowledge in many fields in one studies direction). I studied computer science and for 2 first semesters we was learning of laser’s detailed construction, peltier module or how anti-missile radar is constructed. Some of this information was useful and interesting, but why computer programmer should know details about the hall effect or theory of electrical circuits? Even professional electricians in my work do not know that. I would add that learning programming subjects had far too little in comparison with the programmer developers from abroad. They know a lot less about lasers, radar, etc. but immediately after graduation can start making money, but many of our students do not have adequate preparation for this. I cheated because of this. What about the piracy of intellectual property. Do you know why it is impossible to patent code of software in the European Union? You can only patent particular product not engine of this product. The strategic objective of the Union is to catch up the United States level in programming. Therefore, the developers of the Union may copy the code from colleagues in the U.S. and sell software as their own. Even large consortia do so. Decomposition of the code is generally prohibited in Anglo-Saxon countries and Japan. If governments can afford to halt the introduction of the obvious regulations in the interests of entrepreneurs. Then why I have to do differently, why should I ignore my business interests supremely treating large consortia. In our country music CDs and software are the most expensive in Europe. In the UK and the U.S. are much cheaper. For me piracy is a simple consequence of the lack of respect for the customer. Polish rappers (not to be mistaken with hip-hop) are selling their records a lot cheaper than the other artists and in their environment piracy is almost unnoticeable.
Piracy is something that cant be stopped. Entertainment industry should think of some way to encourage people to buy things insted of doing piracy. For example, they should make their content more accesible in the internet, selling movies and music only in digital form, maybe resigning at all from physicall form like cd's. There are already such things, like buing music from itunes or watching movies on demand on tv, but it is still not as popoular. I'm doing piracy my self, but always when I liike some movie or music album I'm buing it on cd, especially from some underground artist, who dont earn much. Just to support their project, I assume that hollywood productions doesnt need my 20 zł. A lot of people do piracy just because it is fast and easy way to get the content, not because it is free. Thats why this indusry have to make their stuff more accesible for people. When it comes to crib sheets, I've never done it, but I dont have anything against people who does it. When it come to some exams, I always want to find for my self, what knowledge I have gaind. Nevertheless I dont feel cheated or a victim of deception, it is everybodys personal buissenes.
I do not know any statistics and I never did any observations on who is more likely to lie: women or men. I think that everyone is able to chat or lie no matter what your gender is. Fraud is such a strong world, and sometime we use it in a wrong context. I believe that even if you do not deceive others, you often deceive yourselves. For example, people often say: "I will do it tomorrow...” But do they really do it tomorrow??? We say that even when we know it is a lie just to feel better and, somehow, postpone things that we are not able to do at that time.
